Know how much to sell Ford GT40 driven by Steve McQueen in 'Le Mans'!
Ford GT40 produced in 1968 and directed by Steve McQueen in the movie "Le Mans" has set a new record.
The car was recently sold in Monterey, California for the fabulous sum of 11 million dollars, the highest price ever for an American car. It is a price that far exceeds expectations of Canadians at RM Auctions, auction organizers, who estimated that they will get at least eight million dollars.
Ford GT40 was created by Ford in the early '60s, in order to be able to beat Ferrari in motor sport distant. The car won four consecutive editions of the Le Mans (1966, 1967, 1968, 1969).
